I know it's been forever...

The Whaley family reunion and 50th anniversary celebration!

Pictures from Becky's 50th birthday party! Unfortunately, I was too busy to actually get any pictures of peope at the party. Oops!

The bed and breakfast in Tulsa we stayed at over the 4th of July.

Because I have nothing interesting to post...

Can you tell it's tornado season? This picture taken from our deck just shows a storm cloud, but the tornado sirens did go off twice that evening...

A picture from our weekend trip to Colorado. Haha, just kidding. This is actually a picture out my office window, but the clouds really did look like mountains...

We finally finished painting our living room, dining room and kitchen. The dull, light walls are now a warm tan.

And, finally, we added a little excitement to our basement - we framed some of the movie posters that Angela gave Charles during her employment at a movie theater in Dallas.

Happy Birthday Sophie!

Sophie's birthday was yesterday, so of course I had to take a few pictures! :) It's hard to believe that she's already a 1 year old!

Spring Snowstorm

The view out of our front door on Saturday morning.
The view out of our back door...

The sun finally started to shine again Saturday afternoon.

Sophie, right after her new haircut (a few weeks ago)... doesn't she look cute?

Finally, a picture of the dining room

Here is a picture of the dining room... we replaced the light fixture (previously track lighting).

And, a picture of Sophie, just for fun.

This and that

People keep complaining about my failure to update the blog, so here you go... just a little of this and a little of that.

Christmas at the Curran household (i.e., Bruce and Pam's).

Sophie and Charles being cute.

The living room minus Christmas decorations.

The basement: a major work in progress.

O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree

Our plans to cut down a Christmas tree were thwarted when Charles managed to injure his shoulder and knee Saturday morning. Thankfully, with the help of my parents, I found a beautiful pre-cut tree shipped all the way from Seattle!
